New Etsy Stuff

I finished my DT project today. I really had fun with it!! Can't wait to share it with you guys, but you'll have to wait until the newsletter comes out. :) Come check us out at ASF when you get a chance.

Hobby Lobby was having a sale and as usual, I bought too much stuff. Especially since I'm broke!! LOL!! I found a cute paper stack called "All Dressed Up". It's perfect to use with some of the pictures that I have of my daughter. Well, I'm off to take my meds, watch Harry Potter for the 100th time and call it a night!

My Wisdom Tooth...

Well, my pain has gotten better, but I do have to have a wisdom tooth removed. The pain was so bad that I called the Dentist in tears. Now for a person that is TERRIFIED of the Dentist, this is a big thing!! LOL! I found out that my bottom two wisdom teeth are coming in sideways. The one that is hurting has a cyst around it and it's infected...hence the excrutiating pain!! I have scheduled oral surgery for Wednesday the 2nd to get it removed. It's located very close to a nerve so I really need your prayers. If the nerve is damaged, my lip and lower jaw on the left side could be numb forever!!! Imagine my shock when he told me that. Well, I'm not going to worry about it because I know that God ALWAYS has the last say so. :)

I bought a cute monkey stamp today. I made a few things for my Etsy shop using the stamp that I'll be posting tomorrow. I also drew it and used my water color pencils to fill it in. I like the way it turned out. Isn't he a cute little monkey??!!

Well, I'm off to take my pain meds and call it a night. Make sure you come back tomorrow to see my new Etsy stuff. :)

Pain!!!!

Quick post. I have a toothache which is causing a major headache!! Actually it's more of a gum ache than a toothache. To, be honest, my whole mouth is hurting!! To make matters worse, my husband recently changed jobs so it will be two weeks before I can get to the Dentist. :( My tolerance to pain meds is really high, so over the counter medicine usually doesn't work for me. Prayers please!! :o)

Haven't felt much like crafting these past few days, but I did manage to play with my water color pencils. Kind of reminds me of something I did in 4th grade. LOL!!

GOOD FRIDAY

Today was a pretty good day. I got a lot done at work and I am ready for the weekend. Not that I'll get any rest this weekend though. I'm going out with my sisters tonight to our favorite restaurant...Outback, and then we're going to see, Tyler Perry's new movie, "Meet the Browns". They both live out of town, so I always enjoy when they come home. Tomorrow will be full of preparing Easter baskets, practicing Easter speeches, dying eggs, etc. So much fun, but I'll be exhausted by Sunday night!! My daughter will be going to her 1st Easter egg hunt tomorrow, so this should be fun. I just hope the weather is nice so I can get some good pictures. :)

Well, I'm off to start my weekend. Here is one of my Easter projects that I made for my daughter's teacher. I drew, cut and paper pieced the bunny myself. GO ME..GO ME!! LOL!! I got the idea from Regina. If you haven't seen her work, please go check it out. It's amazing!! Thanks Regina.

"G" Mamma

Isn't he cute?? This is my God-daughter's son. I'm not exactly sure what I am to him??!! Would he be my God-grandson??!! LOL!! Right now, they call me "G"Mama. :) He is such a sweetie. This past Friday was my God-daughter's prom. I still can't believe she's old enough for the prom and we're not even going to talk about the fact that she is now somebody's Momma!! My daughter was so excited about us getting to "keep" him as she calls it. She's always asking, "Momma, ask her can WE keep him?" Who is WE???!!! LOL!


After keeping him this weekend, I now see how you get tricked into having more kids. God has a way of making you forget what it used to be like!! LOL!! You should have seen me struggling with that darn carseat, baby bag, blanket, bottles, etc. Then he woke up EVERY 2 HOURS!! One of the times he woke me up blowing bubbles. :) I love him, but I've guess I've gotten spoiled now that my daughter is 4.

What happened to my plans???

I didn't get half of the stuff done this weekend that I wanted to do. Why? Just plain lazy!! I had all these wonderful plans of crafting, making cards, altering items, etc., but that all fizzled out by the time I got home from work on Friday. LOL!! I did manage to squeeze in these two layouts Sunday night. One is of my daughter when she was just a little one!! Doesn't she look sweet in this picture??!! (I may be just a little biased) The second one I've been wanting to do for a while now. I still remember the day I came home from work looking forward to a relaxing foot bath. Well, as you can see from the picture..."Relaxing" didn't last very long!! LOL!

My first Etsy sale!!!

Sold my first card on Etsy today!!! It was the Mother's Day card below. I was sooo excited!! Probably a little more excited than most people. LOL!! I'm sure my co-workers are already sick of me talking about it!! hehehe!

Well, last night I couldn't sleep, so I decided to make a few more. I've fallen in love with the shaped cards. They are so cute and unique. You definitely won't find this one in the store. I guess that's why I love crafting because you can make it your own. Since it was sooo pretty outside here yesterday, I was inspired to make a Spring themed card as well. Check out the hand cut grass!! :)


Well, I'm off to get ready for tomorrow. Be on the look out for more projects this weekend. I plan on spending ALL day Saturday crafting.
