Lazy Saturday...

Don't you just love lazy days? I do!! :) Well today has been one of those. I've been working on a few things for my Etsy shop and doing a little personal scrapping too. I finished a page for a challenge over at ASF...WOOO HOOOO!! The hardest part about it was finding a picture of myself. I guess this means that I need to take more pictures of me. One of the ladies on ASF found this YouTube Video which shows you how to make those Prima style lollipop flowers. I made one today for my challenge layout and I love the way it turned out. So easy and very cute!

Birthday Pictures

Just a few pictures from the little one's birthday! She was so excited!! She got to wear a "Birthday Girl" pin to school. She was a little upset about having to wear her uniform though. LOL!! As you can tell from the 2nd picture, she is proud to be 5!! I still can't believe it! In the last picture, you can see all of the goodies she got. :)

Her actual party is this weekend, so I'll have more pictures later.

Crafty Weekend

This has been a crafty weekend for me. I finished a challenge over at ASF AND a few things for my Etsy shop. I'm also playing layout tag over at ASF! I think it's such a fun game. I can't wait to see what everyone's final pages look like. If you've never played before, it's where one person starts out with a layout and it gets passed to the next person who lifts it, then passed to another person who lifts it, and so on... At the end, everyone will post all of the pages. I always find it interesting to see how everyone interprets a page. I know that when I try to scrap lift it NEVER looks like the page I tried to lift from. LOL!!

Right now, I'm up finishing some buttons for an order and then I'm going to call it a night. I hope everyone has a great week.

I'm Scrapping Again

I've also started back scrapping again which I'm really excited about. I kind of got off on a card frenzy last year and didn't do much scrapping at all. Well, this year I hope to do better with that. After all, creating and preserving memories is why I started this craft in the first place. :) Well, here's my first page of the year. It features my daughter when she was just a little bug. She looks like a little babydoll on this picture...hence the title. :)

Where Did My Baby Go??

When someone tells you that you should cherish those times you have with your baby while she's little, you should listen...

I can't believe that my baby will be 5 tomorrow!! Where did the time go?? It seems just like yesterday that I was bringing this little bundle home. I remember being happy, nervous, and terrified all at the same time. Was I really ready to be somebody's Mom?? I still remember being so excited the first time she said, "Mommy", her first tooth, potty training, her first day of daycare (I was scared to death). Now, she's a big girl as she often reminds me! LOL!! She is so excited about tomorrow being her birthday. She has reminded me of that fact for the past two months!! HAHAHAHAHA!! Whew!!

Anyway, I just thought that you would like to go down memory lane with me. Here are a few of my favorite pictures from the previous 4 years of her life.

Scrapping???

I can't remember the last time I scrapped a page. I've been so addicted to cards lately, along with filling orders for others that I haven't done a page in months. Well, this year I'm going to try to do a little more scrapping. I have a new camera on the way so I should have plenty of pictures. One of the things I want to do is a month in review book. I've seen the year in review pages and thought it would be a good idea to do the same thing with my favorite monthly pictures. I think that the picture a day is cool too, but I KNOW that I'd never keep up with that.
