Babbling...

I am so ready for vacation!! You know how when you know you're going on vacation and you just can't seem to stay focused at work? Well, that was me today. I worked really hard, but didn't seem to get anywhere with the junk on my desk!! I've got to seriously do better tomorrow because I'll be off all next week.

I am so looking forwards to a break. I really don't even have much planned. I'm going to B'ham to visit my youngest sister for a few days, but that's it. I can't wait to visit Scrap Etc. while I'm there. It's going to be the highlight of my trip!! :)

Well, I'll leave you with an Anniversary card that I did for my best friend. She's such a sweetheart and this card soooo matches her personality. I hope she loves it as much as I loved making it!!

Obsession???

No one told me when I started crafting that it would become an obsession!! LOL!! I think I've gone button crazy. HAHAHA!! I just can't seem to stop making them. Having said that, I'm sure I'll be giving away some at the end of the week so stay tuned.

Now back to the addiction... Thoughts of crafts, scrapbooking, card making, colors, altered items, etc. swarm my mind through out the day. It's funny because I'll see someone in a dress and think, "Man, that would make a great scrap page!!" Crafting is definitely addictive for me, but at least it's not harmful... unless you count my check book. :) I guess I could be addicted to worse things...

I even used one on this page. This is my daughter when she was just a little bug. **sigh** Where does the time go? It was only yesterday when she was this little. Now, she's 4 and Miss Sassy with a Capital "S". HAHAHAHA!!

Trees...

I've been seeing so many trees on lots of scrapbook stuff lately, so I decided to try to make one. The tag card below is what I came up with. :) This will be featured in my Etsy shop soon. When I first started, it really didn't look much like a tree and my 4 year old informed me that trees were green!! LOL!! Anyway, I'm happy with the end result. My co-worker already ordered 5 similar ones so I'm REALLY excited!! :)

Nothing much...

It's almost Friday!!! YAY!! I know, it's sad to start out on Monday wishing for Friday!! LOL! Just know that it's been a LONG week.

Not much to talk about. Just wanted to share a card that I did for a co-worker and more Etsy flowers.

More Etsy stuff...

Haven't made a card in a while, so I was surprised too when this came out of my brain!! LOL!!This is the latest Etsy creation. I also posted one set of these hand made flowers in my shop too. They're made from hot pink felt and some yummy Basic Grey Sultry paper. I also made some chipboard buttons that I'll be posting later this week.

Now, I have a project to make some randomn cards for my Mom's collection. She loves handmade cards and has a card box that she keeps them in until the occassion arises. So, I need to make about 10 variety cards including some birthday, get well soon, wedding, etc. I guess I'll be busy! :)

PROOF!!

First of all, I can't believe I am posting this picture!! LOL!! But, this is proof for all of my friends who don't understand why I rarely wear my hair down!! When it's up in my normal pony tail or bun, it doesn't look like much, but take it down and WHOA!! It swells to gigantic proportions!! HAHAHAHA!! You should see it before I finish blow drying it. :) I'm open for suggestions ladies!! Anyone know how to manage some puffy, soft, wavy, fly away hair??!! I still can't believe I'm posting this. LOL!!

Happy 4th of July GIVEAWAY!!

I sure hope everyone is having an awesome holiday. Mine is going pretty well so far. I've relaxed this morning and now I'm off to Mom's to celebrate with the family.

I guess I've been bitten by the scrap bug because I've done two layouts in the past week. Normally I can only manage to squeeze out about two per month. LOL!! Anyway, here's my latest of my God-Grandson. Isn't he a cutie? This was the first time I saw him roll over and as you can tell from the big grin on his face, he was so tickled about it.


We also have a weekly challenge going on over at ASF! The following layout was for Wanda's sweet challenge. Go check it out...there's still time to enter. :) I did this one of my daughter's cute feet. These were her favorite shoes. She loves anything that sparkles!!
